In medieval Europe, knighthood was typically conferred by a king, lord, or other noble figure. The process of becoming a knight involved a ceremony known as "dubbing," in which the individual being knighted would kneel before the person conferring knighthood and be tapped on the shoulders with a sword. This act symbolized the bestowal of the title and responsibilities of knighthood. Generally, only men of noble birth or those who had distinguished themselves in battle were eligible to become knights. **

Plasmids in genetic engineering often carry genes that confer traits such as antibiotic resistance because they provide a selective advantage to the bacteria that harbor them. When bacteria are exposed to antibiotics, those without the resistance gene are killed off, leaving behind the resistant bacteria to survive and reproduce. This allows the resistance gene to be passed on to future generations, contributing to the spread of antibiotic resistance. In genetic engineering, scientists can manipulate and transfer these plasmids to introduce specific traits, such as antibiotic resistance, into target organisms. **

Plasmids in genetic engineering often carry genes that provide antibiotic resistance as a selectable marker. This allows researchers to easily identify and select for cells that have successfully taken up the plasmid during genetic modification. The presence of antibiotic resistance genes on the plasmid ensures that only the modified cells survive when exposed to the antibiotic, making it easier to isolate and study the genetically modified cells. Additionally, the antibiotic resistance gene can serve as a safety measure to prevent the spread of genetically modified organisms in the environment. **

The Pope does have the authority to confer nobility on someone, and historically this has been done through the granting of titles such as Duke, Count, or Marquis. These titles would be bestowed in a papal bull or decree and would be valid within the territories of the Catholic Church. However, in modern times, the conferral of nobility by the Pope is rare and largely symbolic, as the concept of nobility and titles of nobility has diminished in significance. **

Hi-tech gaming refers to the use of advanced technology and cutting-edge hardware to create immersive and realistic gaming experiences. This can include virtual reality, augmented reality, high-performance gaming PCs, advanced gaming consoles, and innovative gaming accessories. Hi-tech gaming often involves high-resolution graphics, realistic sound effects, and interactive gameplay that pushes the boundaries of traditional gaming. Overall, hi-tech gaming aims to provide players with a more immersive and engaging gaming experience through the use of advanced technology. **

Robotics is a branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. Robots are programmable machines that can perform tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously. Robotics combines elements of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science to create machines that can assist humans in various tasks, from manufacturing to space exploration. The field of robotics is constantly evolving, with advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning leading to more sophisticated and versatile robots. **

Futuristic films are movies that are set in a time period beyond the present day, often featuring advanced technology, societies, or environments. These films explore themes such as artificial intelligence, space travel, dystopian societies, and the impact of technology on humanity. They often offer a speculative look at what the future could hold, presenting imaginative and sometimes cautionary visions of what may come to pass. **

The justification of the price for a high-tech gaming PC depends on the specific components and features it offers. If the PC includes top-of-the-line hardware such as a high-performance CPU, GPU, ample RAM, and fast storage, along with advanced cooling and power supply systems, then the price may be justified for the level of performance and capabilities it provides. Additionally, if the PC offers advanced features such as RGB lighting, customizable cooling systems, and high-quality peripherals, then the price may also be justified for the overall gaming experience it delivers. Ultimately, the price of a high-tech gaming PC is justified if it offers the performance, features, and quality that meet the needs and expectations of the user. **
